December 2020 Solicitations

December 2020 Solicitations post thumbnail image

It’s that time again when we look at the new, exciting, and upcoming releases in the world of comics in our December 2020 Solicitations. Though these titles are listed in December they’ll come out in February. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Future State dominates February once again but with one new addition: Future State: House of EL.

Expect most DC fans to also pick up Generations Forged by Dan Jurgens, the follow up from January’s Generations Shattered. This will more than likely give us a clear indication of what DC will look like going forward in 2021. But the way solicitations work we’ll pretty much know what that will be next month.

As for the others there aren’t that many notable solicitations.

Marvel is still running its King in Black event led by Donny Cates. Daredevil 25 apparently was big but I don’t have my copy yet so I’ve been avoiding spoilers. So don’t tell me!

In related Cates news, he promises big things to happen with CROSSOVER published by Image.

Valiant has resolicitated a lot of its stuff for the middle of next year. One notable rumor is that Valiant has rescheduled Shadowman from Cullen Bunn and Jon Davis-Hunt to April of 2021. Though Valiant has not confirmed that. The date for the new Ninjak series from Jeff Parker & Javier Pulido has yet to be announced.

Until that time, check out this really cool trailer DC made for Future State.

Comic book trailers are cool.

And that’s our December 2020 Solicitations! It does look like many publishers are recalibrating so expect some significant titles to come out in the middle of next year. And when they do you can read all about it here.
