    The resolution to our three-parter, diving deep into 2000ad and Judge Dredd. I think if you are reading 2000ad regularly you might feel a bit worried, perhaps detect that bit of anxiety because what you are reading could be happening in real time. I know it does make me anxious.

    I do ask Curt, who is our residential American, what he thinks about the current events. And his reply was, in typical Curt fashion,

    “I survived Germany during the Bush years, I can survive this.”

    But I do not think I was talking about him. Oh well.

    In all seriousness, I do discuss the world with my friends and customers. In many cases I do hear that they have decided to shut off the news entirely because it is just so negative. Is this wise or is this act simply shutting ourselves off from the world? I do not know. But I do wonder…do we even have a choice?

    I did not know that Quiver was that strong. But I guess if you deck yourself out in full Judge Dredd gear you can get the job done. I do wonder if he has any riot foam and where he puts it. In fact, I do not want to know.

    For those not in the know, I am the Law could be identified as a catch phrase of sorts for Judge Dredd, since he says it quite often. Again, the debate rages is he a fascist or is he not? It seems that Quiver and Franka are having the debate right here so I will let next week’s comic finish things off.

    But I do abhor violence, especially when it is done against my customers. Now customer does imply a person that undertakes the action of a purchase, which Curt does not, but I still think he should be protected.

    Now if you will excuse me, I need to go and untie him.
