    10 – New Staff Part I

    Sometimes you do not know who you are going to get when you hire someone to run the store, but I do know there is definitely a process and procedure and I am pretty sure Quiver did not go through that. I also do not think Quiver should be talking to anyone much less our customers. But Franka assured me with her around it will be okay. I assume there will be a part II to this story as this is indeed part I, so I am very curious to see what is going to happen.

    Also we do have another reveal. Curt is indeed American, and we try not to put that against him. I do not think Curt is very political but when you live abroad and the United States is the way it is at this moment, I am sure he does tend to get a lot of questions. But like I always say, your citizenship does not necessary constitute or reflect your world view. We love you Curt!

    And I think that is it for this post. Stay tuned next week for part two and another pick by me (or Franka if she hijacks this thing again).

    09 – Gen X

    Ahh yes, the ensemble increases by one. It would be difficult to tell you who Quiver exactly is, because yes that is his name which will be revealed next week (whoops spoilers!). But what I can tell you is the following:

    1. He is indeed a liger
    2. He does indeedy hate a lot of things
    3. He is very much always grumpy
    4. He has not, as of this writing, left the store

    The final point makes me wonder how he manages to survive because I know I am not feeding him. But what makes me even more concerned is how he goes to the bathroom. This is a very disparaging thought because I have never had the pleasure of having a liger as an acquaintance before nor do I know anyone who has. Does he use the bathroom? Do I need to find a lot of kitty litter? How does one go about this?
