• Welcome back to the webcomic Solicitations! We are on our second part of our Secret Origins of Quiver storyline that will conclude in December, just in time for Christmas.

Quiver is shaping up to be quite resourceful and it looks like that darn Priest really has it in for him. I do hope he manages to escape. I mean he does, because he hangs out at the store—in fact I’m looking at him right now. But how he escapes should be quite a thrill.

Expect the second page of True Lies next week. Franka is working her tail off so hopefully we can soon have both parts to you within a week soon. But as is stands now, expect a page per week.

Other than that, we are still working on reconfiguring the website and going through some workshopping and brainstorming to see how best to deliver the comic in the new format. Things are becoming clearer so it will be interesting to say the least. Stay tuned!

That’s it for now and I hope it’s not too cold where you are because it sure is here.

  • Another week another page. And this one ‘concludes’ the first part of Secret Origins! with a nice little cliffhanger.

Will Quiver survive his own death sentence? Read next week to find out!

As mentioned in the previous post, the idea will be to have both pages live every week, very much on par with those old British comics that would deliver a two page episode every week. So far we are on track for this but do expect the next part to take two weeks.

Franka has set things up quite nicely for us. We know for instance:

    1. Quiver is a member of something called the Guild of Space Pirates
    2. Admiral Dux is the leader of this guild
    3. There is a crazy priest called Priest Flamen who definitely does not have good intentions
    4. There is also a Princess

So far we are setting up this space opera quite nicely and we really cannot wait to show you what is next.

    Excelsior!
