What a sneaky and appropriate way to kick off the Curt storyline aye? You think it is about us, and our love for Asterix and Obelix. But then someone has to make it about him, and here we go.
Look, I like to think of myself as a compassionate person. When someone is hurting, I will be the guy who runs for that glass of water, or pillow, or whatever is needed at the time. And of course when someone tells me their woes and are baiting me for that inevitable, ‘what’s wrong?’ or ‘do you want to talk about it?’ follow-up question, I will take the bait. Every time.
Franka is keeping this storyline pretty close to herself, so I do not know where it is going. But if it is about Curt, I know it is going to go somewhere you least suspect or you really do not want to go. But we are going there. Heaven help us.
Finally, a bit of housekeeping. Since expatNERD is located in Europe, location still undisclosed, we are coming up to vacation season. Luckily, Franka is quite ahead, and she has everything scheduled for when we are both on vacation. The only thing that might not happen is the ‘Comic’ page might not be updated at the appropriate time and in the appropriate way…or the big comic on the main page might not be changed. But internet and technology willing, whilst being in the middle of nowhere…I hope this will still happen.
But until then, as we go on our respective vacations and consume our summer movies, I wish you all a wonderful and safe vacation period!
