    45 – The Long Goodbye! – conclusion

    I would be lying if I said I did not shed a tear. Or perhaps cried silently into my handkerchief. That must have been difficult for Quiver. Sometimes we do not know we love the ones we do until we have to leave them or them us. I think there are many that can relate to that ultimate conundrum.

    With six, count them six full colored pages in, we have two more left until the end of our Secret Origin of Quiver storyline. But that does not mean we are not doing other things because much planning and a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes to prepare for the ‘relaunch’ of Solicitations as a full-blown sci-fi soap opera with some humor thrown in of course. It is all very exciting and Franka is working quite hard to nail down her style, her workflow, and how she wants to present these characters in the new format.

    And seriously folks. I cannot believe we are already finished with the first week of December. Things are flying and I do hope, wherever you are, you, your friends, and your family are well.

    The plot is thickening aye?

    And how do you tell a ship full of space pirates that their whole lives have been a lie? Carefully I would presume otherwise you might walk the plank…or getting thrown out of the airlock, which is probably more appropriate in this setting.

    As you can tell we are still keeping our schedule of one page a week and we should be able to conclude this two-parter next week. We are roaring right to the Christmas holiday and we can’t wait to bring you this tale. So far it has been a lot of fun.

    Until then, please remember that when it comes to space pirates…please try to tell the truth even if they obviously won’t.
